This Forty Eight is has good miles and had a few upgrades done. Vance and Hines two-in-one pipes and air intake and some other nice stuff you may want to consider doing.

The tires are the “cool” trailer tires that I would highly recommend to change to regular motorcycle tires. I understand it is a trend but it is not the right tire for a bike. The rear is going to have to be changed anyhow. Get it done right. The front fork has a lot of paint blemishes but you can easily sand it and respray the forks.

The bike has the blue metallic painted tank but the black fenders. An amazing look for this great bike.

The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.
